Baltimore attractions are often considered just as good as those bigger cities up the coast, but without the high prices and the crowds. The Harbor is a great place to start with the National Aquarium, and the USS Constellation. Families love both attractions, as they are fun and educational at the same time. Families also have a great time at the Maryland Zoo, which boasts an extraordinary collection of animals as well as fantastic exhibits and animal habitats. And kids of all ages love to catch an Orioles game at Orioles Park. This is Major League Baseball at its best, and the park is great, too. For those seeking more artistic attractions, a must is the American Visionary Art Museum. We've also listed the Science Center and the B&O railroad Museum just because they are a lot of fun, and fascinating. In fact, that's something all Baltimore attractions have in common- they are all just plain cool....click here for a list of Baltimore Attractions.

Baltimore restaurants have your next best meals waiting for you. With dining available from the harbor to the suburbs, every meal is moments form your hotel room door. And, the prices range from some pocket change for the bite to eat at the corner, to family budget friendly restaurants all over the city, and right up to dining at the five-star eating establishments of downtown. As for cuisine, well, name it. A city of this diversity offers fantastic diversity in restaurants as well, so just about every world cuisine can be found on menus throughout the city. We've included here the list of our favorites. But, when in Baltimore- devour the crab. And, this delicacy can be found in everything from the breakfast and brunch menus, to lunch buffets, and being served in the finest dishes for dinner, daily. You can have it all, and brag about it when you get home, with Baltimore restaurants....click here for a list of Baltimore Restaurants.

Baltimore events have something in mind for your vacation: fun! With summer filled with concerts, festivals, fairs, sporting events, and celebrations, you'll find excitement and activities for just about every day of your vacation. Some of the biggest festivities can be enjoyed during the Maryland Film Festival in the spring, and then the fabulous Artscape Festival in early summer. Thousands turn out for both events, and few walk away disappointed. Another way to get your dose of excitement while in the city is to attend any of the home Orioles games, We also found you can't beat the activities offered during the huge Waterfront Festival in April. 4 days of boats, water sports, vendors, food and music fill the Harbor and city. As for the winter months, be sure not to miss the Holiday celebrations, decorations, and festivities occurring throughout the city. Baltimore events will send you home with more than pictures; they'll send you home with stories!...click here for a list of Baltimore Events.

Baltimore hotels offer a great variety in price, location, and amenities, so any choice is a great one. As for location, a large number of hotels can be found in downtown and around the Inner Harbor. Here, you are always close to all Baltimore has to offer. The prices are bit higher, of course, but watch for great weekend rates and seasonal specials. If you still want access to the city, but don't want the prices and the bustle, try looking in Fells Point, and close to the airport. But if you really want hotels away from the city without losing ways to get there, try the suburb of Hunt Valley, about 25 minutes from downtown. Be sure to make reservations well in advance, especially right before the Preakness in May,and the popular summer months. We'll help you get it all taken care of, so all you have to do is browse through our list of all the fabulous Baltimore hotels....click here for a list of Baltimore Hotels.

Baltimore nightlife is everything and anything you've been looking for. From Happy Hour to last call, you'll find every kind of way to have a great night. One of the better-known nightlife areas is Fells Point. With historic pubs, warehouse dance clubs, and live music venues, just park the car and walk from one great place to another. Power Plant Live, the city's huge entertainment complex, offers some fabulous restaurants and bars to choose from. Some other nightlife hot spots can be found along the Inner Harbor, downtown, and the Mount Vernon area. And for you culture lovers- Baltimore is your dream come true. From incredible live theater, to opera, dance to classical music, the fine arts are especially fine in this city. The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and the Lyric Opera House are great places to spend an evening, as well as the Theater Project. All the choices are yours, and so are the great times. Baltimore recreation offers surprises for every day of your vacation. Whether you prefer the water, land, or man-made activities, this city has just about every kind of recreation one can dream of. For those wanting to get out on the waters of Baltimore's incredible Inner Harbor, you'll find plenty of ways to do so. Fishing charters, sailing lessons and cruises, as well as every kind of boat ride and cruise imaginable is waiting for you at the harbor docks. Also, check out Baltimore Beach for some volleyball, yes, volleyball, East Coast style. Moving inland, more great recreation options include golf, tennis, bingo, horse racing, arcades, entertainment complexes, bowling alleys, and more. We especially like Pimlico Park Horse Race Track (as it home to the middle jewel of the Triple Crown), as well as the Bingo fun at Bingo World. And, no trip to this city is complete without taking in at least one Orioles baseball game at Oriole Park. Baltimore recreation has something for everyone....click here for a list of Baltimore Recreation activities.

Baltimore tours play great hosts to your vacation. Getting you all around the city and harbor these tours are the perfect way to see and do it all. One of our favorites is the Ride the Ducks land and water excursions. These amphibious vehicles can move you across the harbor as easily as across the city. But if you prefer to stay on the water, you'll find numerous harbor cruises and tours. All you have to do is walk the docks and you'll find any number of boats ready to get you out on the water. We like the giant ships and fun from Harbor Cruises, Ltd. And, if walking is more your thing, look to Concierge Plus for some great guided walking tours through historical as well as famous sights all over town. These are just a few of our favorites, but look below and with your hotel to get a full listing of all the great Baltimore tours....click here for a list of Baltimore Tours.
